Our plugin licenses or subscriptions can be activated on two separate computers, and used on both at the same time (all licenses can also be used on both Windows and Mac). If you activate your license on a 3rd computer, you’ll see this menu:
Selecting the 2nd option, Deactivate all other machines now, is the fastest way to get the plugin activated on this machine. Clicking OK will deactivate the license on all other machines and activate it on the current one. So, use this option if you want to remove the license from any old machines you no longer have access to, or if you just want to quickly license the plugin and start working without doing anything else.
The other option is selecting I signed out from another machine. First, you’ll need to manually deactivate the plugin license on one of your other computers. To do that:
-On the computer you want to deactivate, open a project that has the plugin applied.
-In the plugin controls, click the Register or Setup button. This button is in a different location depending on which editing app your using:
-Clicking that opens the plugin’s registration info, which has a Deactivate button you can click:
-Clicking Deactivate removes the plugin license from this computer, freeing it up to be used elsewhere.
And that’s it. Once it’s deactivated, you can activate it normally on another computer. If you still have the I signed out from another machine menu open, you can now click OK to activate the plugin.
