The download is the same for both the plugin demo (watermarked) and full version. Run the downloaded plugins in demo mode if you have not completed a purchase yet, or enter your serial number after purchasing to remove the watermark and activate the paid version.

Compatible with the latest version of Media Composer.

Compatible with Apple Silicon (M-Chip) computers. Mac OS 10.14 and later. Windows 10 & 11.

After downloading, make sure all apps are closed and run the installer. Flicker Free will show in the Effects Palette under Digital Anarchy. Installation issues are often caused by incompatibility. Double-check you have the correct version for your serial number, host app, and/or operating system.

Version of the Flicker Free 2.0 plugin for users that don’t have a 3.0 license or need to run 2.0 with a legacy project.

Compatible with the latest version of Media Composer on Windows. Compatible with Media Composer versions before v2024.12 on Apple Silicon Macs — versions v2024.12 and later require Flicker Free 3.0 for native Silicon support.

Legacy Versions

Legacy versions can be found here. However, most of them do not work with current versions of the host applications. They’re fine for legacy projects in older versions of the host app, but if you need to use Flicker Free with the latest version of Avid, you’ll need to purchase an upgrade.
