Eff-It! is a new panel for Premiere Pro that automatically bleeps out words from clips or sequences. It analyzes transcripts and then places bleeps in the sequence where the curse words are.

It’s very simple to use and supports any language and custom word lists. If you’re trying to clean up something for YouTube or broadcast TV it’s an easy way to deal someone who curses a lot!

Keyboard Shortcuts

Getting started with EFF-IT!, our new Premiere Pro curse words bleeping panel? Here are some time-saving keyboard shortcuts to navigate and edit your transcripts:

PC:

  • Play: Ctrl + Space
  • Undo: Ctrl + Z
  • Redo: CTRL + Shift + Z
  • Change Capitalization: Arrow Up/Down
  • Previous/Next Word: Arrow Left/Right
  • Split Line: Enter

Mac:

  • Undo: Ctrl + Z
  • Redo: CTRL + Shift + Z
  • Change Capitalization: Arrow Up/Down
  • Previous/Next Word: Option Left/Right
  • Split Line: Return

Video Editors can import existing transcripts and sync them with the footage so each word has a timecode or transcribe in EFF-IT! with a Transcriptive account. See this video tutorial to learn more!
