The ToonIt! Preset Manager.
The ToonIt! Preset Manager is a simple interface area that lets you work with pre-made groups of settings. The presets are options that have been chosen in the Effects Palette and Style Creator. We’ve shipped a whole bunch of presets with ToonIt! to let you get quickly started cartooning using Aperture.

ToonIt! Presets are easy to use.
Presets are easy to use. Just select the preset from the ToonIt! Preset List, look at the preview icon, then click the Apply Preset button. You can also save a group of Style and Effect settings so you can reuse that look again in the future.

No preset fits all sizes.
Since every source image is different, the presets won’t have the same cartoon effect on each image. Sometimes the effects will come out as expected. Sometimes you’ll need to tweak them a bit. Sometimes the cartoon effects just won’t work.
In general, our shipped ToonIt! presets are designed to work with an optimal image for cartooning. A well lit face with a simple or dark background and not much detail in the clothing. The further away you get from that image (like a person in shadow with a bright background), the less likely the preset will produce an expected result. Also, if your preset is created for a file of a certain size or resolution, it will translate differently for a file of a different dimensions.
No matter how the presets behave, you'll have fun experimenting with them and finding the toon look that is right for you.
