Four options, eight modes.
The Render Options control how Psunami will display and render your scene.
You can specify which parts of your scene will be rendered and which will be replaced by transparency (an alpha channel). |

The Render Modes control how your Psunami scene will be displayed
as you work. Some Render Modes are used as setup aids. Others are used to generate
layers for additional effects like depth of field blurs and lens flare tracking.

Choose what renders out.
1- |
Both Water and Air The default Render choice is to render 'Both Water and Air' together. You will most frequently use this mode. |
2- |
Water Only 'Water Only' renders only the water in your scene, replacing the sky with an alpha channel. This allows you to easily composite your own sky into your Psunami scene. |
3- |
Air Only Render just the Air in the scene. This is less useful but can come in handy for certain compositing situations. |
4- |
Water Only to Max 'Water Only to Max Distance' renders only the water, and only to the maximum distance. This helps you to composite a layer into the Psunami water using the 'Max Distance' parameter. |

Modes for setup & preview.
The most common Render Modes use wireframe and texture modes for setup and preview.
Use 'Texture (No Geometry)'
mode for testing lighting, coloration, and image map placement.
Use 'Wireframe' mode to preview your camera motion, water motion and displacement maps. It is also useful for testing lighting, coloration, and image map placement.

Realistic or 'too' realistic.
You can also display and render the final output version of your scene in two different qualities.
'Realistic' is used to actually render your final image or animation. You will also use it to preview your work during the compositing process. |
'Too Realistic' is the slowest Render Mode. It is normally reserved for underwater scenes and you won't often use it until the final render. |

Grayscale maps for tracking.
Use grayscale setup modes, grayscale depth maps, or light tracking dots for use with other plugins.
Use 'Light Tracking' mode to create tracking images for lens flares and light source replacement. |
Use 'Depth Map' mode to generate grayscale depth maps for depth of field and other z-buffer effects. |
Use 'Grayscale (Icons)' and 'Grayscale (No Icons)' modes to set up your camera and keyframes. Also use them to test parameter changes in waves and swells.

Check the render time.
If you click the 'About…' button in Psunami’s Effect Controls
window, you can see how long the last frame took to render. This is a great way to estimate how long any given Psunami animation.
