'Map' out your water.
Psunami has three 'Image Map' sections. These property groups let you load in up to three images. Use these maps to change your Psunami ocean surface.
The images can be loaded as texture, reflection or displacement maps. You can use color or grayscale images, stills or movies, with or without alpha channels.
Psunami has two ways to define your image map. The 'Map Layer' popup chooses the layer to use as your image map. 'Map Is' lets you choose how the image map will be used in your scene.
There are three 'Map' property groups for image maps, with a total of seven map types to choose from. They are explained below. |

Displacement maps.
'Displacement' tells Psunami to use your image map as a displacement map for your ocean surface. This image pushes around the pixels in an image or the polygons in a piece of 3D geometry.

Texture maps.
'Texture' tells Psunami to use your image as a texture map placed directly on your ocean surface. Your image is laid on the surface of the 3D geometry as if were a decal. Psunami has three different Texture Map modes, as shown below.

'Texture Above Surface' makes the image map look translucent, as if it were floating above the ocean surface. |

'Texture On Surface' is the most commonly used mode. It makes the map look painted onto the water.

'Texture Below Surface' puts your texture map floating just under the ocean surface. |

Displace + Texture map.
The 'Displace + Texture' group tells Psunami to use an image as both a displacement map and a texture map. Psunami has three combination modes, as shown below.
