Complex stuff under a simple hood.

Primatte chromakey software takes a foreground image of any resolution, shot against a single color, and replaces that color with transparent pixels. Primatte uses sophisticated algorithms to extract the background color. It also color corrects your image by removing any color spill caused by studio lights.

Masking is a 1-2-3 process.

Primatte's tools are easy to use. Just click-and-drag to define the color that you want to more. When the single color is removed, your subject is on a transparent layer in Photoshop. Voila! Read about the interface and our easy-to-use AutoMask tool.

The back screen is typically blue or green, two colors that are not in human fleshtones. That color should NOT be present in your model. This Primatte to tell the difference between foreground and background. Anything that Primatte ID's as foreground will be removed.
