Overview of Knoll Interface.

Knoll Light Factory is very simple to use. Version 3.0 has made your design process even easier with a redesigned interface and new tools. Here is a quick overview of the main areas of the Knoll 3.0 interface.

Preview Area. The Preview Window is where you see your light design build. Preview Options display or create an interaction with the source Photoshop file.

Preset List. Presets are pre-designed combinations of Light Elements. Knoll 3.0 ships with a couple hundred and they’re all accessible through the Preset Manager. You can load and save presets.

Current Flare List. This area shows the Light Elements that make up the light effect you are building.

Element List. This popup displays the list of Light Elements that you can work with. The Add button adds an Element to the Current Flare list.

Element Parameters. This area displays the options that will affect an Element. The list of sliders and color wells changes based on the Element that’s selected in the Current Flare list.

Master Controls. This area contains options that affect the light effect which has build in the Preview Window.

Layer Options. This area contains parameters that determine the way your light flare interact with your Photoshop file.
