Digital Anarchy Acquires Psunami Water for Adobe After Effects From Atomic Power
Award Winning Plugin Creates Beautiful
3D Water Simulations

San Francisco, CA December 3, 2001
Digital Anarchy announced today that it has acquired
and will be taking over distribution of Psunami 1.0 For After Effects.
Psunami expands Digital Anarchys line of powerful , but inexpensive
plugins. Psunami is a tool for creating photorealistic, ray-traced
water simulations and other 3D effects. Using the RenderWorld rendering
engine from Arete Image Software, users can create beautiful 3D
imagery without leaving After Effects.
The agreement with Atomic Power is effective immediately
and Psunami is available on the Digital Anarchy web site for purchase
or evaluation. Support and customer service will also be taken over
by Digital Anarchy and is available either by phone or on the web.

Water and a Whole Lot More.
Psunami for After Effects is primarily designed
to create water simulations. However, due to the sophisticated controls
for texture mapping and geometric displacement, many other 3D effects
can be achieved. Users have the ability to use multiple images or
movies to displace or texture the 3D mesh that Psunami creates.
The water simulation can be turned off and the displacement and
texture mapping can be used to extrude logos, create landscapes,
let a camera fly through geometry, and many other 3D effects.
Of course, it can be used to create beautiful
3D water simulations. This is the effect its famous for, having
been used in numerous feature films. Its also whats
garnered the plugin several awards, like the Innovation Award from
CGW magazine.
